Juliet Michalec

Juliet has danced at DCD for 15 years, and she has performed in every performance of the Children's Nutcracker! She is a senior Dance major at Denver School of the Arts, and has attended multiple summer intensive programs including American Ballet Theater, Boston Ballet, the Jilana School, and Colorado Ballet. She has also danced abroad in St-Paul-de-Vence, France at the Attitude-Vibrations École de Dance when she lived there with her family in 2020.

In March of 2021, Juliet endured a series of strokes caused by a blood clot that found its way to her brain through a small hole in her heart which was then repaired through heart surgery. She has fully recovered from this setback, and she is honored to be performing in this year's Children's Nutcracker as Arabian Coffee and the Sugar Plum Fairy, both of which she choreographed herself. Juliet feels very lucky to teach at a dance studio with such a well-rounded community fostered by such loving and talented teachers.

Dylan has volunteered at the Denver Dumb Friends League for many years, and she enjoys riding and working with horses in her free time. Dylan is also a member of the National Honor Society.
