At DcD, we encourage all of our students (Pre-Ballet and up) to participate in our 2 performances, The Children’s Nutcracker and The June Triple Bill featuring ballet, jazz & modern choreography. Performance is an integral part of dance training and we hold our performances at a professional theater adding excitement for dancers at all levels!

There are 2 levels of participation in DcD performances. All dancers age 3-8 are considered Participants, and the cost is $200, which includes costume and theater rental, rehearsal time and a cast t-shirt. Once a student reaches the age of 9 (Level 1) they may continue as a participant or they may choose to make a larger commitment and join the Jr. Company. This is a decision that should be considered by both the dancer and the parent as it involves a larger time and financial commitment.

The 2023 "Children's Nutcracker" performances will be held at Lakewood Cultural Center over Thanksgiving weekend, November 25th & 26th. The June "Triple Bill" performances will be held at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder on June 9, 2024.
